Puck- D7159- 2004.5 Dodge

In early March I paid for and received a Puck for my 2004.5 Dodge Cummins, unfortunately the puck I received was for a Mustang, that should have been a tipoff right there for me,,but no it wasn't... Sent it back, only to be told that what I wanted was in short supply as I did want the newer model D7159 not the 7158, after some threats and wanting my money back I finally got the D7159 last week- I am concerned though that maybe its not the right one even though it has a sticker on the side that says D7159. The reason I am concerned is the box it came in says for Dodge 06-07, and has a barcode and UD7134 on it, which is the stack- Should I be concerned? Is there a way to check to see if I actually got the correct puck. Couple more things, the installed puck seems to funtion properly. Is there a difference between the D7159 puck for the 06-07 Dodge and the D7159 Puck for the 2003-06 Dodge? When the puck is received what should be in the box other than the installation kit and a single page of instructions. One final thing, my bad on this one, I did not check to see if the seller was an authorized dealer, was not, but apparently buys and ships from authorized dealers..

The D7159 is a superseded part number for D7158 which covers 04.5 to 07 dodge cummins. If you got the wrong unit you would have drive ability issues for sure. You should be ok with the unit you got.
