What rpm is the rev limiter on a DS 93 CAI canned tune set at? I am running this tune on my RT with shiftpoint @6000 rpm and raised shift firmness.

Also, any such thing as the optimum rpm setting for shift point and rev limiter on the 5.7L?

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

I believe it will raise the rev limit in drive to 6700 rpm by default if you select to raise the shift point. I set my rev limit to 400 rpm above what I set the shift point at and as for the optimum that is something you may want to experiment with. Some guys get better ET's at the track with raised shift points (by 2 tenths) and some say that on a 5.7 hemi that anything above 5500-5700 rpm that you are out of the powerband. I have been back and forth with mine and I dont take her to the track and not sure which is better but she sure screams at 6k rpm. When I datalog the predator says i'm shifting at 6200 rpm even though I set it to 6000 rpm.
Good Luck.
