The downloader doesn't recognize the revision that I downloaded. When I look at the pull down menu, it doesn't list a *.crom file extension so therefore it doesn't list the file. The only file extensions that are supported are *.frg,*.frd,*.drg,*.drd,*.grg,*.grd,*.lan,*.2cl
The predator has a sticker on the back that says "2005 6.0." Part number is u7165
Please help
Thanks
P.S. I downloaded the most recent downloader before I downloaded the update.

This is because your not following the proper procedure to update a predator. You will see a button that says "Send Crom File to Predator" this is the button you use to send the .crom files to the predator. Your clicking on send tune file to predator which are buttons for custom tunes.

It only gives me 2 buttons. One is "Send Tune File to Predator" and the other is "Get Tune File From Predator". The version that I am using of the downloader is 1.9.9.6. There are 3 tabs at the bottom of the window. Connection test, Express Tune mode, and Advanced Tune mode. The above that I mentioned is under the express tune mode seletion. When I open the Downloader, it takes me straight to the express tune mode selection. There seems to be no main menu.

"Send CROM file to Predator" is at the bottom of the "Express Tune Mode" tab. Are you running at some teeny tiny screen resolution? You need to drag the corner of the application out so that you can see that button at the bottom.

You are absolutely right. I didn't realize that the screen wasn't fully inlarged. I feel like a complete dumbass.
