I have a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado z71 with a vortec 5.3 . i just bought a brand new U7193 and i am wondering what all i need to adjust to get the most power out of. example i did the diablo tune but i dont feel much difference in acceleration what would i do to change that? And any other changes i would need to do?

what octane gas are you using?
also, you'll want to get your fueling dialed in correctly...

it also takes 30-50 miles for the truck to relearn with the new program. you may not feel a difference right away.

you CAN'T share fueling information. no two motors run the same. you HAVE to log for YOUR vehicle and make adjustments for YOUR vehicle.
Example: my fuel adjustment is -2

right but it was more of like a guide line. He should be able to set his own slope. It's not that hard

Drive 30-50 miles log again just to make sure. Try to log in the same weather as that can effect your results, use the same road too.

i have did the log 3 times and it has said the same thing everytime I install it to dslogredux which is that my injector slope needs to be +2% and i changed it to what it said but nothing changed when i ran another log and loaded it back to dslogredux everytime. do i need to save the files or need to delete the old one off the programmer it self and if so how do I do that?

you hook up to your truck, select the same tune you installed before, select Modify Tune, scroll down to and select Fuel Injectors, then select injector slope, change it to +2%, press the center button to save the change, then press the ESC button a couple times to back out until it asks you "install tune now?" - select YES and it will install the change...
sounds like maybe after making the adjustment that you didn't press the center button to save the change...
when you go back into the modify tune menu for the injector slope, does it have an asterisk next to it?? that indicates that it's been changed...
