EBPV sensor

Post by Zeuss »

Can I read the EBP with the U7170. I would like to read the actual pressure it is seeing. Does anyone have a list of what each thing under live reading is. I can get there in the programmer but would like to know what each thing is. Thanks

May i ask what software revision is on your predator? I know that with the latest revision the Dataviewer software works very well offering more pids to datalog.

I know my unit is the one with the half circles on the obd plug and 4 screws holding it together. I called a couple days ago and they said I had the latest rev. You guys emailed it to me awhile back and talked me through getting it loaded right. Thanks.

Yes, if your have the latest revision then it will connect to the dataviewer software and you can stream the data to your laptop. You will be able to datalog many EBP pids in the software and graph them.

OK. I will read through the owners manual again, but is there a way I could give you a call this week and talk in person about some of the things I would like to know. Thanks

The dataviewer software has descriptions of the pids and its fairly easy to set up. You can talk to tech support rep which will be able to help you with anything that you need on the dataviewer. If you have other technical questions you can email me. cole@diablosport <dot>com

Pids

Post by fordtech »

I have a similar question is it possible to be sent or posted a list of what each pids value should be on average like voltage means how much pressure or % on each cylinder is common. And if the these values are for a tuned motor or a stock program. I have recently ran pids on other trucks to get a base line but most already have a tune of some other company so I can not say if my parameters are the norm. My tuner is the old style and the power and mileage loss is very sad. This would be a good diagnostic tool if we had a list to go with it.
