I have an 08 F250 Super. I was told that during the initial drive after you put a program in you should drive it easy or you could have harder shifts from then on. Is this correct?

Also, I haven't seen any substantial fuel mileage improvement.

It is a good idea to let the TCM relearn its new program before getting on it too hard.

Mileage gains have been pretty consistent, on the order of 3-5 MPGs from what we have seen/heard.

Thanks

Thanks Mikel. Any certain setting that seems to be getting the better mileage? I'm trying the 80 now.

The tune listed as economy tune, I believe it is 65 hp.

tried it but didn't see much difference. I thought I saw one your guys post before that 80 is what most are reporting as the best? I'll keep trying.

Thanks Robby. I will run it a while on 80 to see what I get. I do like the power better but only if I can get the mileage. You know, have my cake and eat it to.
