I purchased tuner in 2004, never had updates. Wondering if I should update my tuner?

Your tuner is most likely the 'small' memory version. The latest tunes will not fit in the available memory of your tuner.
Cross your fingers, DS has been hinting of the possibility of upgrading our older tuners to the current (big memory) tuner capabilities, but, don't hold your breath. This drama has been playing for a
LONG time now.
