MDS surge 2007 charger r/t

2007 charger r/t u7135 afe cai i called and talked to a tech there about MDS surge with your tune instl, i deactivatedMDS as asked and the surge went away but cant drive with it activated, sent you a email about 3-4 weeks ago and havent heard anything. does anybody have this same problem, if not them im bummed.

It's a common thing. Many suspect it has something to do with the torque management. Even users of the S U P E R C H I P S have the same thing. You get use to it. Had the issue in my 2007 R/T R&T.

thats grate to know, its funny it works in stock mode but the Programmers cant get it right?

If you think about it, the MDS, ECM and TCM were originally designed by Chrysler to be seemless when engaging MDS and dis-engaging it. The side-effect was an overly smooth MDS engagement and a smoother Cadillac type shift which the gearheads hated. They wanted a harder shift, and more performance so the program had to be altered (reducing torque management) which sure did make the car more agressive, shift harder and perform better but they too had a side-effect. That side-effect became known as the MDS "Bump" or "Surge". I don't even notice it anymore after 6 months with a tune installed.
