Do I need to re-tune frequently or at all?

Hey guys I apologize if there's a thread on this already, I couldn't find one after searching.
Question:
I have a 2019 Dodge Challenger RT stars and stripes edition, I purchased the PCM swap and tuner module thing a couple of years ago. It is the intune i3 model.
Everything worked great when I installed the new PCM and canned tune. As far as I know everything is still working great but the question I have is should I update the tuner module and retune the car every so often? When I initially installed the tune I noticed a massive difference especially with the transmission tune. It could just be me since I've been driving it around for years but I feel like it isn't as peppy as it was when I initially installed The 91 octane and transmission tune.
With a tune get programmed out of the PCM or is everything fine? I just updated the tuner and I'm going to redo everything in the morning but I figured I would ask for future reference. I do appreciate your time and help, Hope everybody enjoys the upcoming Labor day weekend
