02 ford 350 7.3 super duty

bought this truck it has a delta chip in it a black one but was unplugged when i bought it. previous owner said all i would have to do is plug in the chip and it should work but after doing so truck will not start now unplug it starts fine

The truck must have been reflashed at a dealership and the calid changed.
The chip will need to be reflashed to the current calid of the truck in order for it to work.
