GM gas Predator hardware upgrade program in place!

The time has come.
Owners of older GM gas Predators can now send their tools in for a $99 hardware upgrade. (Any tools sent in that are locked to another vehicle will be charged an additional $50 unlock fee)
This allows anyone with a U7193, U7195, U7198 or U7192 with a 1.XX or 2.XX revision to have their tool upgraded to use the latest 9rXX revisions.

These newer revisions allow you to datalog to the Predator, or to use the Predator as a pass thru logging device and live stream data to our Dataviewer software.

It also adds the ability for these tools to hold up to 5 custom tunes in addition to the canned tunes.

Other features are a vastly improved read/write procedure and the most up to date tunes.
This upgrade also makes the Predator internet updateable, so you can download future updates to the tool at home on your PC rather than having to send it in for updates.

Please feel free to post up or call us if you have any questions.

If you are ready to upgrade your tool, please fill out an RMA request form under the support tab here.

Thanks
Mike

Update on older Predator for GTO

I have an older Predator purchased from SLP (part number SLP7199) for an '04 GTO. It was software rev. 2.06, hardware rev. 1.01 until I sent it into Diablo for an update last month. It is now software rev. 2.07, hardware rev. 1.01. I sent it in because I was looking to get some of the new features of the newer model; most specifically I was looking to be able to modify the injector slope that this tool did not originally allow. Now that I have it back, I find no difference in any part of the tool and it does not allow me to do injector slope modifications. Can you tell me if this tool is updatable to do injector slope modifications or do I need to purchase the newest version of the Preditor model for a GTO to get this capability?

if you just purchased it, it should already be the new one, since they were released back in June...

when it boots up to the main menu, there's a revision number at the top of the screen... if it's a 9rXX number, you're all set - it's a new one.
