It's here.

We are now offering a hardware upgrade program for owners of older U7170 Predators.
This upgrade will allow owners of these tools the ability to use the latest revision updates on their current Predator, which allows you to hold up to 5 custom tunes, and to use the Dataviewer software for log playback or live streaming.

This upgrade also allows U7170 users access to the latest tunes and adjustable parameters available in the latest revisions.

The cost is $99 plus shipping. If interested, please fill out an rma request form under the support tab here on our website. (Any tools sent in that are locked to another vehicle will be charged an additional $50 unlock fee)

If you have any questions, please feel free to post up or give us a call.

Thanks
Mike

How long should I expect to see the RMA email? I submitted the online request last evening, got the robot confirmation, but am (anxiously) waiting for the actual RMA#.

My Predator is boxed, ready to toss in the mail. Just anxious to get going!!

I am hoping mine will be back to me this week.I sure hope so my fuel mileage has dropped dramatically from almost 490 miles to 320 miles. Will let everyone know when I have some feedback.

How about?

I know this is not the place for 'suggestions', but this totally applies to the Predator hardware upgrade.

If you guys would simply drop a quick email to the RMA client when you do the return shipment, a lot of ANGST on the customers' part could be eliminated.

Just my 2 cents.

Anxiously waiting for my Predator to come home!

I got mine back on Friday and have been playing around with it ..seems to be very responsive..it came loaded with the 9r03 crom..didnt care much for it,The tranny would not shift before 3000rpms..I tried all the parameters and nothing seemed to help.
Today I noticed they had posted the 9r04 crom ..installed it..and that one is a keeper!!!Works great on tranny set-up...shifts feel tight and on the money.Rolling from about 20mph..I can mat the pedal and those 285's are beggin for me to let off.Great job guys!!!!!

Okay guys, here's my performance post:

Loaded up the 110 program:

At light to low throttle, the truck seems well behaved and not really on a tuner. But, at a little more, then boost builds quickly and power comes on quickly and not very controllably. It’s like: normal then schizoid to BAM! Boost flies past 20 and suddenly I’m going way faster than I planned. Almost like when a two stroke bike comes up on the pipe. Hard to explain, not sure it’s really usable. Goes from tame to beast with not much in between.

Personally, I'd prefer a little more linearity.
