Odd Happenings since first Flash

I have the U7130 for my '03 cummins.....Recently I went to tow a heavy load and needed to turn it down to tow....from performance.....

Once I reprogrammed the truck to tow, and everytime I've flashed it since then, no matter what tune, my ABS and Brake light will stay on for almost 3 hrs of driving before they'll shut off.....and for about the first 20 mins, about every 5-7 mins.....I get four loud beeps in succession from the stereo speakers, like : beep beep beep beep: I messed with it, flashed it back to OEM, and to 3 other tunes before I just gave up and left it on tow because I couldn't figure it out and didn't have anymore time to waste on it. The manual says nothing about this either.

When I first flashed the truck, I never had this issue. Everytime since that first flash it has done this. If anyone knows why, so they can bring my conscience to ease about this, it would be much appreciated :)

Thanks in advance!!
Nate

PS.
Despite the wierd things happening when I re-flash my truck....Everything works GREAT

Do you have bigger tire than stock on your vehicle? The abs usually stay on for a max of 30min after flash.

My ABS & brake light also stays on for alot longer than 3min. I dont have any beeps though. Im not sure exactly how long but I can drive around, turn the ignition on & off, but it eventually goes out so I dont pay too much attention to it. It also does it when I switch back to stock so If I go to the dealer I plan on switching to stock the day before, just to be safe. It has been like this from the begining. I have stock tires by the way.

Nope.....the tires are OEM size. A friend of mine was saying that there could be some sort of weight sensor that when I have a load on it could disable that stuff, but I think he's full of it lol.

But it's WAY longer than 30 min.....I've gone 180 miles before they have turned off.

Anyone know anything about the loud beeps from the truck's speakers?

Made a video today of reprogramming my truck, flashed up to extreme.....WOW....LOTS of smoke now and that thing FLIES.......But of course since I made a vid of the flash process it isn't making the loud beeps and the lights aren't staying on at all...Go figure....

He he. I heard that if you put your truck in reverse and back it up it will clear the abs quicker, i have yet to confirm that yet though.

I did it 3 times......Twice about 50 ft....and by the 3rd try I was mad so I backed up WITH a 24' car trailer a full 1/4 mile.....and they still stayed on lol. That's when I ran out of time and I gave up.

When I do a flash on my 03 the ABS & brake light will stay on till I pull forward then back up (15'). Sometimes I have to do it a few times but it will always go out. I do have to hit the brakes on it going both ways for it to work. If I just take off in my truck it will stay on for half hour or so. I have never had the beeping on my 03.

Try putting the stock tune back in. Then reset the computer. Check the owners manual for this procedure. It may require more than just disconnecting the pos cable for 5 min. Then drive on it for a lil before installing a tune. Might be a good idea to reload the predator to.
