Diablo Sport,
I am in the process of building up an 05 crown vic don't laugh it has a PI head 4.6L v8 and accepts most all 99-04 mustang engine parts though apperantly a mustang programmer won't work and no performance programming companies are producing a product for it will DS consider stepping up and putting somthing out for me and the many other crown vic guys out there. you would have a monopoly on the market for crown vics and if you advertised on the many crown vic web sites you would sell a lot of them. I would be willing to provide my 2005 crown vic as a test mule of course it has 36k miles and dual exhausts.
thank you

RE: 05 ford crown vic
what years of crown vic are supported by the mustang predator to the best of your knowledge? I have a 2005 and big plans for the PI headed beast. If i add a XFI comp cam (I also kinda need advice on which to choose) with springs, kooks headers,a k&n gen 2 fipk ,a professional products intake plenium and 75 mm TB ,3.90 strange gears with a trac lok ,a 2600 rpm stall TC ,magnaflow mufflers (which I allready have in true dual form) 180 deg. t-stat (it has an electric fan), maybe an electric mezier water pump, underdrive pulleys, raise the rev limiter to match the cam and 235/50 BFG KDWS on 18x8.5 CalSp. mustang wheels and tires. Can a programmer take all these mods and optimize their effective ness (what order should i do the mods in ii can't afford them all at once). Also what about fuel injectors and a MAF sensor would bigger ones be required? I have a pretty good knowledge of these engines and these common MUSTANG bolt on type mods I just need a litte reassurance as weither i can pull this stuff off on my vic and if proper programing from your company will be avaliable. If not all of these mods what can i use and still produce some respectable power?
I got this car with 30k miles for a lot less than a v-6 stang. So in a way this is kinda a low buck muscle car to me.
I am trying to make this happen so badly I just need tech support. Have been looking every where looking for help (superchips were flat out dicks to me and hypertech kindly declined to help) are there andy DS dealers/ slash Techs in the nashville area who can do the custom programming I am gonna need?
thank you
A reply would be stellar and a god send

RE: 05 ford crown vic
Most of the mods you list will work fine in the Crown Vic.
The tool we will be releasing will support 05-07 Crown Vics.
You would need to contact the guys mentioned above for specifics on what can be done with the Stang tool.
For some of the bigger mods like cams and headers, you would need a custom tune from one of our CMR dealers.
I would suggest the simple bolt-ons first, then do the major mods that will require tuning and have the car tuned for those mods all at once to save time and money.
Use the where to buy tab above to find any dealers we may have in your area.
Thanks
