I am using 7165 with the 9r05 installed on a 05 Ford 6.0. 4" exhaust, AEF air system. I get a loud whine in the 100hp mode at most all RPM. I have read on the blog that some turbo shafts or bearing go bad, can anyone tell me what is going on? Thanks

It's just because it's a VNT turbo and when you put the intake on it there no longer a resonator so you're naturally going to hear it more esecially with the added duty cycle of the 100hp tune for the VNT.

Thanks a lot, makes sense. Is there any thing I can do to quite it down? I don't remember the noise with older tunes.

Why you don't like it? I guess if you wanted you could use a K&N Filter sock. That might help...

Im having trouble getting updates for the surging issues with the new program(R05). I downloaded the file from the sticky but cannot open it. I checked the old downloads and they are CROM files and the new ones are FRG. what is the difference?

Here are the 60hp and 100hp files. If your calid is not posted please post it up. These fix any low injector pressure codes as well as any surging your having at WOT. They have been tested and approved. Any Feedback is welcome.
