Hello, I just joined.
How do you adjust "WOT" for fuel and why would you need to? What are the gains?
Thx

RE: WOT???
Its not about Gains, but about being able to dial inthe correct A/F ratio for optimal power output.

RE: WOT???
I'll Ive done was add the 93CAI Tune and Rev and Tire tunes. Not sure if i wanted to tamper with anything else. How would I do a WOT tune for fuel?
RE: WOT???
You first need a wideband guage. Stoich for cruising is 14.7:1 although my Viper works great at 15.1:1 Anthing leaner than about 12.6:1 at WOT could cause engine problems. Knock sensor should also be used for that determination.
correct a/f get the best fuel mileage and power. engine runs smoothest at proper air/fuel mixture. Transition from idle, cruise to part and full throttle is controlled by air fuel mixtures. Surging at crusie is usuall too lean. Fouled plugs, balck smoke and premature engine wear are controlled by a/f mixture.
If you buy a decent wideband (LC1 etc) you are able to use the PC to record logs and a/f can be seen on a graph later, as well as emailed if someone is helping you by writing tunes, etc.
