Added new custom intake

Post by Mopar345_ »

Hi, I recently added a new custom air intake and the diameter is now 4” all the way through on my 2017 Dodge Charger RT, but my IAT sensor is reading 125+ even when not in idle. I put the factory intake back on to see if the sensor was the issue and it’s not as it read correctly while driving only 10-15 above ambient. So I’m thinking I may need a tune to correct. Where can I get an adjustment? Jay Greene is not responding at the moment? And how much for this kind of adjustment?

the intake should have no effect here, sounds like the sensor might not have been plugged in properly with the 4" intake, but regardless, a tune should not be required for a CAI here.

Ok, when you say plugged in are we thinking that the actual harness not being in all the way or the unit not being pushed into the hole fully?
