5 interesting option to have if is possible, on the dodge srt-4 predator.


1- Boost controler by gear

2- egr valve on-off

3- 2 step lunch control

4- Fan always on when key is on and engine off (Drag racing mode)

5- Wot Shift Mode (To powershift without the rpm rising)

Those gonna be Nice new selling point Let me know other srt-4 users, if you have any other idea

The PCM does not have a way to know what gear you are in, so....

2- egr valve on-off
Can be done in a custom tune, cant be added to the Predator due to EPA regulations.

3- 2 step lunch control
Not sure on this one, but it would require some sort of input to tell the vehicle when to engage/disengage the 2 step.

4- Fan always on when key is on and engine off (Drag racing mode)
Not sure that is possible, but there are manual fan controllers that allow you to do this.

5- Wot Shift Mode (To powershift without the rpm rising)
Ummm....like what, a neutral rev limiter to keep the revs down between gears? Not sure thats a good idea...

The boost by gear can be done. I have recently figured out a way to do it. It's actually by mph.... It can be set up through a custom tune.
Fans as well. I'm working on the 2 step.

LOL, right? Man, some of these SRT4 guys are tough customers, but fortunately for them, Brian is so on the case....!

Well a nice luck we have all you guys, Tuning is so hard, and so much different from a car to a other. Brian figure out to put my diablo custom 93 perf tune with the duty cycle of my stage 1 computer and my stage-2 w-g... to stop over boosting 25 psi lol .... and im sure he save my turbo too...

I understand for the egr valve, i'm shy to ask again brian to modify my custom tune, But egr valve off Most give Gain or Remove certain Small cut .... wellever that a Bad to mix bad unburn gaz back into the car lol .....


Well the last option was like a wot shift box, You let your feet on the gaz, all the way on the drag, and, you don`t remove your feet on the gaz while shifting to keep all your boost.... and you can save easy 1 sec (Powershift) the problem is to damage the trans, or to hit the rev limiter ... and the ecm gonna cut the timing to rev limiter, but this box... gonna hold the same rpm than your shift, keep the turbo spooling, and just give back gaz when the clutch is back on..... this way is soft for the trans, and .... Give you damn nice shift without Braking the trans, Just be sure to have a good act or supporting at less 400 fl- feet torque cluch...

By the way, I log a nice 346.8 torque On the srt-4 Boosting 17 psi with your tune i just add a act clutch and walbro 255 fuel pomp, cold air !
was +1 spark +2.5 Learner afr: 12.06 all the way up to 6000

With 94 oct fuel :

St Knock 5 deg (Oup) at 4850-5000
Lt Knock Correction -2.5 Deg...

Is cold Reading was 25-32 f

Gonna add gaz. remove 1 deg and see ... 11 afr safer winter target lol

I didnt hear any knock by the way .


P.s Maybe Brian if your looking for a idea to have a launch control, find the line in the ecm that give the message to the ecm that the clutch pedal is engage and keep the rpm steady when the clutch is engage, that will be a simple way to do the wot Shift option and launch control at the same time ...

i still have some hesitation at low rpm, and seem dead at 5000-6000 rpm, i change my o2 housing and .... order my downpipe, cat seem to be big ennemy to power .

i dont know is the traction control can be added too.... But wellever, only nice for winter. Ennemy of drag too sometime ..... Ajustable Traction Control, that could be nice lol ! well we never know , abs sensor maybe possible to program with diablo. They seem to study tcm since a while lol

Diablo is posting on PTCrew that an 06 ATX Cruiser is needed for testing to release ATX parameters?? No one seems to be answering the call..............can you skip them??

Seriously!!

If you've figured out the 03-05 ATX parameters, please release them for us earlier years and lock it out for the CAN Bus guys.

Since the PCM is shifting the car in an ATX, you should be able to see the gear and have an easier solution in the ATX versions. Right??
