Fail to write Neon SRT-4

I have a 2004 Neon SRT-4 that I purchased with a intune i3. It already had the Diablo Tune on it. Yesterday I went to adjust the WOT Fuel parameter and the tuner failed to write to the PCM after the adjustments. The tuner prompted me to install the original backup after a reboot as it should. I reloaded the Diablo Tune and adjusted all the parameters and wrote them to the PCM together, all went well. I still needed to adjust the fuel some more, so I adjusted the parameter, and it failed to write again. So same process as before, and all was well. This happened one more time before I got the fuel to where I wanted it. Am I doing something wrong? This is a repeatable problem. It really is nothing serious as it corrects itself, but it is an inconvenience. Hopefully, someone will have some answers for me.

the fact that it eventually worked tells me the param is not broken, so its really odd.
Have you update the device lately
In all honesty, the SRT4s always had odd bus issues, and they don't tend to get better with age unfortunately.

I have not tried updating it since I became the owner of it. I will try that. I appreciate your time.
