Bad Unlocked PCM? (Intune i3)

Post by zztopo »

Hey y'all. I am now into my 2nd week of problem solving issues with driveability and multiple codes. The 5.7 R/T is a handful to drive after the engine is fully warm. The Challenger runs 100% fine when cold. After it gets hotter, it struggles hard to start, the transmission struggles to find the right gear, the car lurches when at a stop, the oil pressure goes to 101psi  , and I get 4 codes. I am throwing Oil Pressure/MAP Sensor and Throttle Body Codes. All sensors that are throwing codes share a 5 volt, and ground from the same 2 pin on the PCM.

I have had 3 different mechanics and a tuner who rule out anything but a "hot PCM." We have been at this for a week. It all points to electrical. My mechanic installed a Stage II Comp Cam 220/230 HRT, and BBK longtubes with shorty catted mid-pipes and a catback.

I hope Diablo can help me out with an even exchange. It's unanimous that it is the PCM.

Gotta be 100% real with you, in 18+ years I have never heard of such a thing. Rule of thumb is, if the car starts and runs, the pcm is fine. There are outliers, but very uncommon.
What are the actual codes?

How long ago did you get this unlocked pcm from us?

Thanks
