the i1000 is a pretty old device, personally I would suggest looking at a newer i3 vs adding a license to the i1000.
We'll sell you a new device for 25% off if you want to trade that i1000 in.

Have the same...locked licence to an old car that is sold...so possible trade in to a new version? What best price? How about unlock the device? Price? What the big difference between this old unit and a new one? What benefit?

if you have an i1000 as well, its really best to upgrade.

If its an i2 or i3, you can add a license and get it going.
If upgrading to something new, we'll give you 25% off any new product.

What about an intune that the touch screen doesn't work correct anymore? I can't press the back button to return to menus after trying to select changes and it doesn't usually accept the correct input for selections. Due to that, my ECU is currently locked with the basic 87 octane tune and I can't change anything. Is my ECU locked this way or can I use another tuner?

upgrade to a newer tuner and we'll give you 25% off the new device for trading the old one in.
