Try dialing in the tire size up or down in half inch increments. The new ABS modules in these trucks are very sensitive to the correct tire size being input. Once you get the correct size dialed in, the lights should go out.
There have been several updates to that tool but none to address any issues with the tire size parameter.

so for exanple if my stock tire size is 245-70-17 and my new tire size is 315-70-18 how would i go about changing it. do i change it half an inch and tune it and change it a half an inch again and tune it again? can you give me an example.

Use the aspect ratio (70) to fine tune. Try setting it to 72, 75 or 68, or 66 to see if that helps.
