There are no updates for that ollllld Trinity T1000... that tool was discontinued many many years ago... There is nothing for it anymore...

And that buick is not a supported vehicle... can't do anything for it anyway...

pick the TB or Envoy, but if it doesn't offer tunes for it, that means we never had that cal in our database, and there is no way to add it to the t1000 at this point.
A current i3 or t2 would read the file out and let us add support that way.

Don't mean to thread jack here, but i was looking for an update to my old lady (T1000) but no luck as i see in this post...

what I'm trying to do is get my 6.2 2014 silverado to allow me to get the fans to turn on earlier (as i have installed the 160 F thermostat but the truck still runs on the normal 204 range (like it did before).

I have read some forums and i need to turn the fans earlier (with the diablo tune installed) the only option that the tuner gives me is to apply more voltage at 192f (AND UP) nothing for below that TEMP (which appears that newer tuners allowed to do so...) anyhow i have set everything to MAX voltage from 192 and up, no change... (sad)

Any tips other than going with a newer tuner?

its not anything to do with the tuner, thats just how GM maps their fan control.
It lets you adjust the % of fan power vs ECT, so if you tell it you want 90% or so at 192*, it will cause it to ramp up to that starting at a lower temp, but theres no control below 192* in the PCM.

and that 160* t-stat is too cold/low for these trucks/engines... lowest you'd want is a 187/189* t-stat...

and as mentioned, you can't change the temp at which the fans come on... the temps are hard-coded in the ECM operating system... You can only change the % of power that the fans run at, at the preset hard-coded temps... and can't be adjusted for anything lower than 192* anyway...
