Is the Diablo Predator everything the forums say?

I have been reading the Powerstroke forum recently and everyone has been saying the Predator tuner is going to destroy my transmission and blow my head gaskets. Is this true? They all say I should sell it and get a SCT tuner before it destroys my transmission. All I am interested in is better fuel economy, I drive like and old man also. I have a Air Aid intake and MBRP 4" turbo back exhaust. Also my transmission was surging at around 1800 rpms today.
Thanks Zach

LOL.
The internet is a strange place man!!
For starters, we dont even flash the Transmission, so how could we kill it?
That's just majorly misinformed people right there.
The Predator will give you the fuel economy you are after, and there will be no other issues.
These 6.0's have serious head gasket issues on their own, they dont need our help or anyone else's to make them worse.
We purposely do not raise the boost in the 6.0 tunes for just this reason.
Thanks
Mike

hey, if anything it will help the trans. due to much less slipping. i have had great power and gas mileage gains with my 08 powerstroke. no driveability problems at all.

Do you raise the boost for the 7.3 in my rig? I have the new upgraded tuner and it sure spools up quickly. What is safe boost wise and is it an adjustable parameter.

The gas mileage is great for my rig. I have had a superchips tuner on it while waiting to get my predator back. The Diablo is a superior product in every parameter of the tuning. It accelerates better, runs smoother, comes back to idle just like stock does where the superchips will high idle a little too much, it shifts better, has a way better passing gear at 70-75 freeway speed for sure with no transmission surging like I experienced with the Superchips . I have gotten as good as 22 mpg when Im not traveling mountains.
