I got a bench setup here with the calid's from one of you who says he can install the tune without modifying the parameters but when modifying them the tune install fails.
What parameters are you guys touching?
Where exactly does it fail?
Please let me know asap.

in that thread, here's what he says he tried to modify:
====================================
I set my shift points at 6,100 rpms with the new CROM update and it shifted at 5,850 on the 1-2 shift.
I modified the pcm an tcm the first time, so I thought maybe more tcm issues so I tried without the shift adjustment an did only the engine params. adjusted All engine params besides wot spark.
But the first time I loaded I got the same prob wit the key an I just rebooted the pred an I did my params again an installed fine, but I started gettin a lot of st knk retard then. Startin messin with wot fuel an tried to install but I got the turn key off an on again repeat.
================================================
that help?? heh...

With the beta crom u gave us, I had probs from jump,I couldn't touch any params at all, I tried to jus do rev, an it loads completely til it tells u to cycle the key, then from there it repeats it 3 times then says, make sure key is on. Then it does that 3-4 times then tells u too reboot, so I unplug the pred for a few mins plug it back in, an I see last tune did not finish, install stock tune. An won't let u go any further.
Then I tried it with just fuel, an same shit happens, so pretty much only works if u jus use the canned tune an not to modify.
Now the first crom works great, all params work for me, except tcm, u mess with anything in the tcm an u fail lol.
U prolly have my calids, I jus sent to u a couple days ago.
Let me kno all u need to kno an ill answer best of my knowledge.
Oh an on the beta crom, why would my st kr be worse than on the first crom?

The beta crom you refer to is 9t02d correct? And the first crom is 9r01, is this correct?

I have an 07 and I have had no issues with any of the modify parameters. I have 2nd prime delete and rear O2 delete through a CMR tuner. I have changed my shift points, rev limiter, speed limiter, WOT fuel, and tire size. However, when I modify the parameters there is an asterik next to the parameters that have been modified. When I modify the tire size I enter the size and do the key cycle and when it's done the tire size option does not have an asterik like all other parameters. Is this normal, or is the tire size adjustment not taking? Other than this, I am completely happy. I have my AFR dialed in at 12.2 and it runs very strong now, much better than the SC 91 tune especially from low to midrange.

This issue is isolated to the 05-06 guys.
The no asterisk for the tire size is normal, it works a little different than the regular parameters, hence no tire size.

the 2-3 shift seems a little klunky when just cruising around town.

Is this topic only for the 05-06 guy's issues or is it open to other issues as well???

Well when I install 91 perf tune and I set the rev limit, shift points, tire size, fuel at the same time or anything other than just the perf tune by itself it wont even turn over......
Also how come I can't use the PSC1-003 Split Second tuner to change fuel trims at idle and part throttle. Like I can with Super Chips. I have heard some people are setting there fuel trims via the psc1-003 before they install the DSP and it works fine. Any ideas???

05 4x4 quad cab-canned 93 tune works great but if I try and change my shift points and rev limit I have the same prob as above.It will take the changes in the pred. but when you down load to truck it said key not on.after a few trys it made me return to stock.I only tried once.did not want to push my luck.This was done with 9r01.I would perfer not to try the beta until it is proven.I would gladly trade the shift points for 2nd prime delete,Iwas only going to raise them 100 anyway.

Cool. Then i have no issues with my 07, except I can't quit flooring it.
