Post by 3gGT »

1. 108819
2. v7r50d
3. 2001 Ford Mustang GT

Objective: Upload logged data

Using Windows 2000 laptop with 9 pin connector.
Baud speed set to 57600 on Com1 and on Predator.
Tried both automatic / manual settings.
Tried another cable.
Tried to upload a log.
Tried to use the DataViewer to find the port and attach.
Tried com ports 1, 2 and 3 as 4 is in use.
Verified that the com port has a good working status on laptop.
Using Administrator account.
DataViewer and and CMR_DAT_200 downloaded and installed last night.

Your cable has serial connections on both ends? If so then this should be fairly easy. With the Predator powered up, open the CMR_DAT_200, set the com port stuff correctly in the Options tab, Go into Tools, Get file from Predator, name the file and hit save, now hit the Upload Log file on the Predator and it should transfer the file. Once the file is transfered you can open in it in both logging softwares...

Also try it with the DataViewer. Some of the CMR_DAT Predators can talk to the newer DataViewer.
