Hi is the original PowerPuck vin locked once installed? I have one that my dad took off his 2005 Ram 2500 before he sold it about 12 years ago. I was going to give it to a friend who has a 2005 Ram 2500 Cummins. I don't want him to go through installing if it will not work with his.
