2014 f150 transmission vss recall??

I recently got the notice about my 6r80 recall, they need to reflash ecu incase vss signal is lost it won’t force a shift to 1st. I have the intune3 programmer mostly for tire size adjustment( running 87 tune) . What does diablosport recommend before going to dealer? Retune to stock prior? After dealer flash will my original stock tune undo what ford did to the shifting strategy? I’d like to know before taking it in…. Thanks in advance!

Yes, return to stock, let them flash it, then ideally reload the tune.
