Diablosport in tune i3 not backing up PCM

Hello,
I received my i3 the other day, connected it to Wi-Fi, and updated it. The next day, I plugged it into my 2017 Ram 1500 5.7, but I got an error. I brought the i3 back inside, installed a calibration update, and tried again.

Now the i3 recognizes the truck, but it won't perform the backup. Is there any way to force it to create a backup without changing tunes?

I'm still using my stock, locked PCM, so I can't start the PCM swap process because I don't have a backup to load onto the DiabloSport PCM.

I was wondering if anyone here has run into this issue or has any suggestions.

you won't be able to do anything until you get Diablosport's unlocked PCM...

Yeah, you need to complete the pcm swap form and get the unlocked pcm before you can tune.
The new pcm will be programmed for your vehicle out of the box.
