can someone identify this programmer?

Post by damnjoel »

i just bought a used dodge 2004.5 3500 4x4 auto quad. its a clean truck, well maintained, 120k, stock exhaust, stock air intake system. i didnt even notice this programmer until after i purchased the truck. I was wanting to get some information as to what this is programmed to do.

the truck has the stock lift pump under the hood so im alittle worried about running a programmer. im keeping my foot out of it (usually do) until i can get an updated fuel system installed.

Ive done the race car thing in the past. im not wanting to mess with this truck too much. just a mild programmer, homemade whistler air intake and exhaust.
thanks for any info.

Can someone at Diablo tell me what this programmer is programmed to do?

Thanks!!

joel

Actually, I think it's a Stage I. It's not a programmer & can't compare to any modern downloader such as the Predator. This is the Dr Performance Model 2016.

Here's the writeup from ETR Diesel Performance:

Predatorâ„¢ Dodge 2004-2005 Cummins 600 Performance Module Stage 1 70HP/110 Ft Lbs

With the Predatorâ„¢ Performance Module by Dr. Performance, more power is created safely by burning existing fuel more efficiently, instead of adding excessive fuel to the combustion chamber.

This combustion efficiency process boosts airflow, fine-tunes fuel delivery with precise air/fuel ratios, gives you greater volumes of energy during combustion and provides more power and longer engine life.

The second you press down on the throttle you feel the difference. Your diesel pickup accelerates quicker and passes safely.

Diesel performance "chips" over fuel your engine to produce more power. This produces more fuel than your engine is designed to burn, thus the surplus fuel burns in your exhaust manifold and turbo. Undesirable heat is generated that increases friction, wears on the cylinder walls and rings and could lead to total meltdown.

Bottom Line: Predatorâ„¢ Series is "cutting edgeâ€

Mike L,

Based on the logo on my programmer and its age, i assumed it was one of your older products that was no longer offered on your website. That's why I took the time to sign up and post here. Meanwhile, i was reading about your new products and planned to upgrade to something more adjustable until you posted up with ZERO to offer except ridicule. Good luck to you, i won't be supporting your company.

I wanted to say thank you to the others who helped me identify who made my "programmer"

Sorry you took it personally.

It was not directed at you, but rather a competitor who obviously has no originality, since we have been selling Predator tuners for years.

Again, please dont take it so personally. We offer the best tuning products in the business, and I'd hate to see you miss out on that because of a misunderstanding.

ya dont take it personally, the "module"u have is a competitors produlct in no way related to the predator tuner available here, mike was just makng a joke as to what that product claims to give,if u really want to make ur dodge move get a tuner from here to stack with your module, then u would have the best of both worlds.oh and welcome to the site, theres a wealth of info on here,a good bunch of guys
