2003 7.3

just bought a 2003 f 250 that came with a predator model v.7r19b
when I tried to hook up the predator it comes on but will not let me do anything because it says original backup was not loaded, I am not sure what to do can you please tell me my 2003 is a 7.3 L power stroke diesel

Sounds like it was in another truck that was not returned to stock before removing.

If the programmer was installed in another truck and never returned to stock you will not be able to program your truck with it.However,if you know where to locate the truck that the program is currently in ,you can retrieve the tunes ,then use it.

i do not know where to locate the other truck. can i send it in and have diablo sport reset it

I might be way off base ,but I dont think they can.Since the tunes are gone with the other truck ,your probably gonna have to buy another programmer.Hopefully Mike or Brian can shed a little more light on this for you.Hope you get it going.

Best option we can offer is to send the tool in for the hardware upgrade and unlock which would cost $150 + shipping.
