I just tried to modify the tune in my '04 GMC LB7, I got an " Install Faild, Tune not Found " Message. I had sent this unit in and had it upgraded shortly after I bought it in '04 I have a receipt from the upgrade but not from the guy I bought it from at " Running With The Devil " in '04. My unit ID and Customer # should be on file.
My software revision is 1.11 and hardware is 1.00.
What Do I need to do?

You may need to download the newest revision (9r05) or send it into DS to have it checked out.

What kind of amazes me is that other than the Tunes not being there. The Diagnostic and OBDII functions all work including reading real time data.
It's seems like just the tune files got corrupted or deleated. Since I haven't messed with it in a few months ( and it worked fine before ) I'm more perplexed. I can't imagine there is a battery type memory for just the Tune.
Unit is to old to do the internet updating thing. I had to load a patch way back when I first got it in '04 because it gave an engine fault out of the box. After that patch worked I was instructed to send it to DS for an update which they did. Again in "04.

Looks like you may have to return it to DS or maybe the Techs can help you online/phone call.

Thats odd.
Not sure about that error message.
I'll have to wait till Johan gets in later this week to see if he has a solution.

My thoughts exactly on being odd, Especially since what I was trying to do was to go from the med high tune to the economy tune when it happened. But it let me restore the Factory Tune ???????
I can't imagine losing Just the Tunes ........
I really don't mess with the truck that much, It's just kind of fun to spank Mustangs and Tuner cars with a Dualley.
Most of my play comes from C5 Corvettes. I'll get into them all they way, So I do understand The Who what where and why of electronic tuning. I haven't found my cable yet to hook this up to the PC and see if there is anything there yet. I haven't done that since I had to get a Flash in '04 for a engine light after first installing it. Then you guy's loaded all new tunes in Feb of '04.
It isn't real fun driving this truck stock

I really would like to get some kind of answer to this before sending it in. I don't understand how this could just loose part of it's function.
