7130 / 25325451AH Blues....

Post by PatriotBlu »

Hey Guys -- Right now, my Calid: 25325451AH isn't supported. Just wanted to prod you a little on getting an update out to me so I can use my new widget here. Spoke with tech support Friday and they said that they'd be working on something but it might be two weeks!!! :o

Get those 7131 developers to take a break and fix me up!!! ;-) I'm local too so let me know if I can swing by with a pizza or something to make it go faster! 8)

Thanks!

Cool Man. In the meantime I got the puck installed tonight. So easy, I was able to do it in the dark in 15 min. Running it on 90 HP. Truck responsive! Idle seems smoother -- Is this possible or just in my head?

Just coiled up the switch with some ties and left it on the puck on the fuse box. Pic Below. Ok to leave the switch it there? The heat / dirt won't hurt it I don't think.... Thoughts?

My plan is to run on 90 HP empty flatland (PB County) not towing but no gauges. Think I'm ok flying blind w/o Gauges? I only get on it once in a while for fun -- stoplight to stoplight and such.

Assuming I'm ok, once I'm up and running w/da Predator, same thing for the middle stacker tune. Ok to fly blind with that combo (UNofficially, of course. ;-) )???

Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks Johan!

Cool cool. The switch should be alright there.
You are going to run 90hp with what tune? The puck by itself is ok with no gauges, depending on what tune you choose, as long as you drive with the foot connected to the brain and dont uber-rag on it you will be fine.

Oh -- Brainfart on my part. I was thinking there was the compromise "Economy Performance Tune" for stacking. I see there isn't.

I got confused because I saw the 7131 had it (among other things  we 7130 folks don't) and it stuck in my mind.... Is there a custom one like the Economy Performance Tune for stacking with some of the timing cut back for the 7130? Is it even worth it?

Forgive my ignorance but what does the RKL stand for on the ultra-whup-ass tune?

Thanks for the replies!

I see there are enough requests for the perf stack tune out there, what i will do is make a sticky with links to download the corresponding tune for your calid. Should get that done here soon.

Cool. Got it.

So, with my Calid, for the economy / performance stack tune, I'd go for:

http://www.diablosport.com/downloads/pr ... _stack.drd

By the way -- This doesn't cure my original issue with the 25325451AH not being supported yet, does it? I still have to wait to hear on that, correct? Just don't want to confuse things as I'm easily confused.... ;-)

Thanks.....

Your are right, it does not cure that issue of the unsupported calid. That should get done here soon too. Ill keep you posted.

Thanks for the quick work and posting to the site.

I read the DS Downloader doc and understand that. What is the process for adding new tunes (like the economy / performance stacker tune you posted earler), i.e. .drd files to the Predator OR will that be self-explanatory once I get my feet wet with updating the .crom file...

Gonna get my A/C adapter today. Should have a 9 pin serial laying around somewhere... ;-)

Thanks again for moving so quick. Don't need to get y'all a pizza afterall!!! ;-)

He he, i am watching my waist line...NOT. Once you get the proper hard ware, use the ds downloader and select send tune file to predator, select the .drd file you downloaded and press ok, it will automatically send the file to the predator and once you plug it into the vehicle you will have an additional custom tune menu under Performance tunes.

Hi Johan,

This r26 downloaded fine, the unit rebooted fine. Took it outside, hooked it up and went to add a tune and got the same problem -- it says my calid isn't supported & need to get a flash from the dealer.... :(
