Load % question

I was lookin at my diablo fuel tables... and when under full load.. im running at 96.4%. I know from experience you dont want to run over 85-90% load. So Is there anyway for me to get this changed? or would it have something to do with my tune. Im running a set of 39# injectors and a Cobra/Lightening MAF .. The car is putting down close to 270 hp. So i know im not pegging out the MAF or the Injectors.. (Which is overkill i know)

I'm thinking you are confusing load with injector duty cycle.
Add a blower or turbo to that can and you will see load go way over 100%!

Most if not all of the fueling and timing tables in the PCM are based on load these days, since rpm is not enough considering the load on the motor changes as you increase speed, even at the same rpms.

so what is a safe operation max for a engine to handle before that is no longer a safe level?

It dont work like that...load is simply determined by certain things the PCM calculates, you will see as much load as the PCM calculates.
