U7131 updates

I have an 07 with the 9r01 update. Was wondering if the 9r02 or 9r03 updates had any differences to them versus the 9r01 update? My truck has the rough idle issue during cold temperatures when you start up the truck with the motor being cold. Didn't know if one of the two newer updates would solve my problem?

It doesn't make a difference on mine, it idles rough on the stock high idle but when I idle it up with the programmer to 1100 and up it smoothes out. As soon as my cold air intake gets a little dirty it starts idling like it has a big cam in it.

the rough idle is alittle annoyoing but i deal with it, hopefully they get that cleared up, and maybe some custom tunes for U7131 would be cool, and the cruise surging. JMO

Yours is still surging in cruise control? Huh, mine quit all that crap as soon as they took off the tune on the fly options. Any of the newer updates seem to have eliminated that, the idle is a result of the timing and fuelling changes done to make it dust all those "Poorstrokes". I can't see them "fixing" that any time soon, just idle it up and keep your filters clean. You can't have a 9 second 'Cuda that idles like your wifes civic. JMO.

i am running the latest revision and yes it still surges, but i deal with it. I havent been running the puck because my injectors dont like it, I will put it back in after my RP guage and clutch to see what the truck can really do, I will keep the puck in the closet untill it dynos to be a dyno queen...lol

Just wondering if anyone else still has the cruise surge on the newer updates? Mine quit when I had the r16 in my truck, I have the 9t03a update now and haven't had an issue. There might be a common denominator with the the trucks still doing it, like boost foolers, pucks, certain updates or a combination of different aftermarket stuff. Might help some of us still shopping for some of the goodies you guys are already running.

kw, the old fix for the surge if it was still present after the updates was to do a full restore, as in go to options/troubleshooting, restore original backup.
It takes a few minutes more, but reinstalling the tune after this may clear up the surge.
