U7146 REVISION UPDATE RELEASED!

Post by kmac1 »

New Update 9R07 in the link below...

http://www.diablosport.com/index.php?mo ... lay&pid=14

This should fix many little quirks. We also added some adjustable parameter fixes and a few calids that were unsupported.

If you have any feedback feel free to post.

Enjoy!

If the car is smoking heavily there is likely a mechanical issue somewhere.

What exactly has changed with this revision? Is datalogging to pc in real time now supported? what other parameter adjustments have been added?

This update was to fix as many random issues as possible. We fixed some pinging and RPM limiting issues in the Mach1's. Fixed some of the adjustable parameters for tire/gear adjustments etc... Basicly if you were having any issues before no matter what model your Mustang is I recommend updating to this revision and see if your problems go away.

Realtime Datalogging with Dataviewer is something we are looking into for this tool but it will likely only work on the newer hardware.

I still don't understand why it would be beneficial to update to this revision. i don't have a mach 1 and my tire/gearing is just fine. Is there a new tuning strategy with the canned tune, or a fix for the datalogging? This has gone on for quite awhile with still unresolved issues. As you describe it, I dont think it is worth the effort to set my tune back to stock and get this rev downloaded and installed, unless there is a legitimate reason, other than. You understand my point?

i agree...dont understand why info on revisions is always so vague, and actual dyno numbers are impossible to get. KINDA MAKES YOU WONDER WHAT YOURE REALLY GETTING.

i decided to upgrade it and see if it gets any better. will post results as soon as i figure out what exactly changed, since it appears DS can't tell us users exactly what was changed, and why any issues weren't addressed in the previous revs. makes you wonder what is still goofy with this tune?

We made many changes that might not be visible or noticable to some. In the end this rev will be more stable and should show great results all across the board and eliminate most all the issues. This rev is another step towards realtime datalogging and 5 custom tune capability which I would like to add when we get to doing the next revision.

its true, many of the dead ends in the menu were gone. the datalogging looks like all options work. i didnt check to see if the tune file itself is the same parameters, but the tuner looks more formatted now. if only you can support live datalogging!

So is there a new canned tuned with the new rev or does that stay the same as the previous rev???

There was a few little tune fixes but for the most part the tunes are the same. I recommend everyone to upgrade if possible.
