2006 GM LBZ Predator 9r04
Truck had to go into the dealership, so i set it back to stock. When i got my truck back i went to load the 65hp tune in and all went well. Drove the truck the following day and felt no difference in throttle response or power from stock. Plugged the programmer in and went to load the 85hp tune, and it said "tune could not be loaded" and asked me to reboot. Rebooted predator and it said that it was not succesful in loading tune so it had to load stock tune back in. It took approx 5 attempts to get it to load the stock tune back in.
A day went by with driving it stock, and i decided to try loading a tune in again. No accesories or electronics on in vehicle, park brake on, key turned to on position(not accessory), heater controls turned off, stereo off. It read my stock tune perfectly, the when i went to install the tow tune the same thing happened. It told me that tune install was not successful and it had to reboot. After it rebooted it was NOT POSSIBLE to get it to load the stock tune. After approx 50-60 attempts with different combinations of park brake on/off and key positions I decided to start pulling fuses. Pulled the 3 fuses...............nothing(many attempts). It had always worked in the past without pulling fuses so it didn't seem like a good spot to start trouble shooting. Then i decided to pull some more fuses, daytime running lights as well as high/low beams. 5th attempt in with this combination it decided to load the stock tune back in so i could at least get home.
All this took place in a store parking lot over 1.5hrs. What the hell is going on. All opinions welcome.
