custom 93 tune to 87 :u7198

I had to get a custom tune to fix the hard shifting of the transmission from Johan a while back and he sent me a 93 oct tune. If I want to run 87, how would I adjust the settings to control the knock retard? Do I lower the timing and monitor how much KR there is, or is there a set amount to lower to run 87? I am curious if anyone knows how to do this.

well, you could lower the timing, but the timing settings in the predator that you have access to are only for WOT...

if he created you a custom tune for 93 octane gas, most likely he increased the part-throttle timing as well, which you can't change.

you'd have to get a new custom tune made for 87 octane that also includes the hard shifting fixes he did.

if you post up the custom tune file that johan made for ya, and also your stock/original backup tune file, I can take a look at it for ya...
