06 5.9l cummins

will the trinity be able to read fuel pressure? and fue rail pressure? i understand that it reads signals from 5v outputs but am i gonna have to buy sending units for it to read certin signals or will it read thrrough the signal comming from the vehicles computer?

rail pressure it might be able to read, but fuel pressure it will need to have a sending unit. I still havent understood how you'l be able to hook up EGT and fuel pressure to this thing. are there just wires, plugs ect.

If the factory PCM reads it, the Predator will display it.

The external inputs plug into the small jack with a headphone type plug.

For external inputs a simple headphone jack will work.

A headphone jack won't work. They have a 3.5mm mini-plug. The Trinity takes a 2.5mm submini-plug.

Don't worry about it. Nothing there except verification that its a 2.5mm and not a 3.5mm.

k so anything my truck reads the trinity will read, correct? and if i want fuel pressure and egt's i have to buy the probes and plug them into the trinity with a headphone style jack and the trinity will know what it is? or do i have to program that in? im realy liking this unit but want to know more details about it before i purchase it

Yes, you will be able to program in the scaling so the unit can display temp or pressure values based on the 0-5V signal.
