many u7170 problems

i am going to put the u7170 on but i keep seeing nothing but problems. Why? and what else should i use if i shouldn't use this.

What kind of problems are you having?I have had mine since July of last year and not really had ,What I would call issues.If you have a bone stock tranny and you keep doggin on it ,then you might find a weak link.

Honestly that's normally the only thing you'll see in here... That's why we have these forums.. so we can monitor our customers and how they are doing with our products... This way if there is any issues we can resolve them quickly. Every once in a while you'll see some post about how awesome something is, but we don't really use the forums for that... More for troubleshooting and tech.

The u7170 is a very elaborate tool that is made to work with old hardware from ford so there may be a small issue from time to time but I try to get them resolved as quickly as possible...

Im having the same problem here.. im soon afraid of using it.. worrying something will die in that engine!

All i get is trouble codes. thank god i at least can delete them! engine lamp. is on all the time!
