Volume 3 Issue 1 of Diesel Tech Magazine had a tuner showdown with the Predator, BullyDog, Edge, and Superchips. As we could have guessed, the Predator had the best horsepower and fuel economy gains. Great job. It also said the Predator can change shift points and speed limiters. That must be a Ford thing. Anyway, Congrats.

Not sure where you are coming from with that statement?
Of course he who makes the most power will smoke trannies quicker, but that's where common sense on the part of the end user comes into play...
And we dont have any EGT issues on these tunes at all.

Just an observation that I and others have noticed after running all of the above.
the predator runs hotter than the bully dog
and doesnt have torque management that helps save the tranny.

Are you talking about the Cummins here, or the 6.4 to which the OP is eluding to?

I was assuming that since this was posted in the dodge section it was about the cummins?

I ran my buddys BDTR and it ran hotter than my predator, but I know they all react differantly to other trucks, JMO.

I used to run the Triple Dog (Crazy Larry) and it wasn't as hot as the Predator, but then again it all depends on your supporting mods...
