Torque Modulation vs Shift Firmness??

Hi,
2004 Mach 1 Auto Tranny, U7146
I just want to check the difference between Torque Modulation and Shift Firmness. Do they do the same thing and Shift firmness is just for WOT? I now have my Mach 1 setup with a K&N Gen II FIPK and my diablo tune loaded. Feels real nice. Definitly feels like it's pulling harded.
Thanks

The shift firmness is for how hard you want to have the tranny shift.
The torque modulation is the PCMs way of limiting torque output in abusive driving situations to protect the driveline.
Thanks

So for daily driving is better to have the torque modulation on?

If that is what you desire, it is fine.
Most people would never know that torque modulation even existed if using our tune as most of it is removed.
Thanks

Instead of starting another thread, I'm gonna revive this one since I have an automatic Mach 1 as well.
How do I "soften" the shift into overdrive as much as possible? I have everything for the 3-4 shift set to stock, but it still "clunks" into overdrive more than when the Predator tune isn't loaded. My xCal2 did the same thing when I used to have that. Whenever the car is running the factory tune, the overdrive shift is a lot smoother. Which settings on the Predator will give me the softest 3-4 shift?
