Post by Atlasts »

Has anyone installed the u7194-9r05a version on their 2008 Silverado Vmax 6.0 and did you see any improvements in power and gas mileage?

I should of added, is there an improvement over the 9r05 version ****

i did install the predator in a 07 nbs vmax but not the 9r05a. they are working on a new update for the 7194. they had some trouble with the pcm locking whenever u installed the predator. i have the update but ill let mikel post in and he will send it to u. i did notice a big difference with the new update vs stock programing. i figured the update would be online by now. but i wouldnt mess with the 9r05a just yet or at least wait till mike and them says it ok to do.

engines don't usually make a CREEEEEK sound. not unless there is something seriously wrong with it. have you put the stock tune back into the truck to see if the sound continues? If the sound is still there then it isn't the tune.

if there is no TSKR then there is no pinging. you have other issues causing the creeek sound
