M1000 connection
One of my customers is trying to install an M1000 on a 2006 DT466 engine. Looking at the instructions, there should be a connector going to the ICP sensor and one to the MAP but the puck only has 1 connector. Does it go on the MAP? (That's the only place it would seem to fit)
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.

Looking through my notes, it should be just ICP, let me confirm.

1. Find a desired location under the hood of your vehicle to mount the DiabloSport Extreme PowerPuck. Ensure that the location you pick is free from extreme heat, moisture, and has sucient room for mounting. We have found a good place to mount the Puck is on the driver’s side.
2. Route the adjustable switch through the rewall into the cab of your vehicle. Route the wire away from any movingdevices and away from extreme heat that may burn the wire. Avoid cutting any factory wiring.
3. Locate your vehicle’s fuel pressure sensor(ICP). This sensor can be found on the driver’s side of the engine block on the rear side of the engine. International DT466, DT530, DT570 2004-2006
4. Unplug your vehicle’s factory harness from the fuel pressure sensor and plug in the harness from your newDiabloSport Extreme PowerPuck.
5. Locate your vehicle’s MAP sensor(see diagram). The MAP sensor should be located on the same side as the ICP sensor slightly toward the front of the engine.
6. Unplug your vehicle’s factory harness from the MAP sensor and plug in the harness from your new DiabloSport Extreme PowerPuck.
7. Mount the adjustable “Diablo Dialâ€

Sorry but the M1000 I received last week has only one 3pin connector that is identical to a Ford 7.3L or 6.0L ICP sensor connector. The instructions say that the M1000 does all 444, 466, 530 engines. That's impossible since the 444 is the same as a Ford 7.3L.The truck is an International just like the one you have on the Diablosport diesel power puck flyer. The customer did find the FPS but the connector will not fit on it, only on the MAP. This is the engine S/N 466HM2U243039.

I figured out what happened here, this truck is a bit different than most, but there is a specific harness for that application.Blacksmoke wrote:Sorry but the M1000 I received last week has only one 3pin connector that is identical to a Ford 7.3L or 6.0L ICP sensor connector. Please PM me an address that we can have the correct harness shipped to and we will get it out to you or the customer asap.
Thanks
