Smoking Predator at 3rd use.

Already post in this forum; encouting problem with 300c AWD (european version) and USB/serial prolific driver for update.
This problem simply solve with USB HUB with external supply.

This time problem is more serious !
I've plugged predator 3 times in car.

1st : no comm CalId needed
2nd : Update to modify stock tune
3rd : would like to remove EGR (billet Tech plate complement)

The 3rd time predator said "Couldn't communicate" stay ON but smoke come off the plastic and toast odor.

I've unplugged it but what can I do ?

Predator bought on ebay as new (no international shop out of ebay for france) I've it since March 4th

Could I send it to Diablosport ? Make other think ?

Have you gotten the Predator to do anything?
Did you download any updates? Has it tried to write to or read the car?

Predator couldn't update car the 1st time so I make CalID needed at screen.
with this update Predator could read car and install stock tune.
Actually at third time connect (some days in each) I choose EGR off tune and choose install tune . at this moment screen of predator looks like a normal install tune but smoke appears and message said couldn't communicate.

I've unplugged just in seconds. never try since. I think (I supposed) it's just a component in the predator supply? But I haven't try to connect to PC to backup original tune of car.

OK, please fill out an rma request and mention that this tool needs to be checked by engineering.

Hello

Return from work travel.

I've found why predator smoke... a component mark as WW180 is like a toast.

Predator could communicate with PC (backup my original file) read the car for trouble code, but not write car with tune.

Could you send me the burned component , I can change it.
I've pics if needed.
