Shifting Problems with Predator

Well Spring is here and finally got da Predator installed!!!!!! only one issue....I've currently tried Mode 1 & 2 in Trans Options, with an increase in shift firmness with a raised RPM in drive @ +600, I seem to be hitting Rev Limiter, at first I thought I was little slow in the auto upshift from 1st to 2nd but after a few tries it seems to lag, I have to shift out @ or before 5500rpm in order to stay off the limiter, but from 2-3rd its bang on, hit the shifter (just before 6000)and its in 3rd. Is this common to have a lag from 1-2nd, you go from 1st to 2nd and its not instant, it takes time?

If this is happening in outostick and not when in D it sounds like a car issue...does it behave the same way when stock?

The 6.1's will wind up a lot faster than the 5.7's. Fast enough that the analog tach on the dash will lag behind. You have to use the EVIC digital tach or a scan tool to see the actual RPM you or the car is shifting at. You might want to log it and see if when you think you're shifting at 5500 that you're not actually shifing at a higher rpm.
