what do kill the tranny

hi, i just want!!
the heat and slip who kill the tranny....
if i have the gauge temperature oil for my tranny, i can use the tune extreme on my cummins 5.9 2005, i m driving smooth with this tune !! bad idea or okay!!

I did the same thing, it was not a problem. of course anytime you add power you add more stress on parts. If I tell you its fine and your tranny crashes then what. Its not like these trannys just blowup because of the tuner

okay! so the problem ,the heat could be dangerous and slip? so if the tranny has never heating and slipping,i could be kill my tranny ?
(my english became little by little better! i learn english)

If your tranny is not getting hot and your not running it hard to slip the tranny then I would say no your not hurting it anymore then with a stock tune. The damage will come when you are trying to acelerate really fast or pull heavy loads and pour the power to it. don't matter if you have a 1000hp if your only using 200 to drive around. Good luck with your english learning.

Guys, I just want to help here, The Torque converter and the valve body calibration is set up for 600 lb torque, if you make 900 lb torque the transmisson will fail sooner or later, unless you upgrade the torque converter and valve body to 1000 lb. torque calibration.
