nothin but abunch of cry babies...

Post by blueticktx »

alrite i have spent the last few hours reading all of the cry baby stuff..Needs to stop..Im new to the predator but have had the power puck for 2 yrs..I became very picky on what programmer to choose..The majority of my friends have 04 to 07 dodge trucks...Were should i start lets see smoked the smarty truck, smoked the bully dog truck and smoked the banks junk..Now what im trying to get to is i have ridin in all these trucks dont get me wrong they got power. But i have a very well put together truck. that dont matter .All you so called diesel enthusist should understand dodge tranny and fuel system blow.To obtain that so called 200 hp/400rwhp you need heavy mods...Until that happens you aint ganna get the potential out of the predator.......And yes there are problems with the smarty as well.On paper predator produces more power...Tell u the truth bully dog is better to me than the smarty....Alrite im ganna shut up..LET THE BULLETS FLY...

2006 4x4 dodge 600,suncoast billet full tranny with race flex plate,fass fuel pump,duel cp3's,100hp ddp injectors,bd super B single turbo.MBRP 5in straight ex.afe stage 2..and off course pred/puck stack..

Funny post ......still laughing.
Programmers are like women, every one of them has quirks and issues, you just need to find one with issues you can live with.
They also start off all nice and stuff and then start costing you more and more money as time goes on.....LOL

Amen brother.. the predator is the best tuner for the dodges. I have tried of tuners and chips and keep coming back to the predator. Love it with the extreme puck! And yes, it is even better than the all-might and super-overrated Smarty!

this thread is a bright spot tonight. I did no research when I got my predator till after the fact. It just happened to be the one that a performance shop sold and said it was good. The price was right and I have never ever wished I had tried a different one. The cold idle is the only thing and I have posted about it only because I would like to see the tuner not have a flaw. I might like to try a puck and see what differences I can feel. LONG LIVE THE PREDATOR and hopefully my tranny too

quadzilla boost fooler is the only one I have heard of and have. not that there might be others. some tuners do fooling.
As far as working yes they work. I blew my intercooler apart first night testing it. I had the one with plastic ends. I find it give more boost so when I am pulling a trailer it seems to keep the egts down a couple hundred degrees. I have not really tried to test it with any certainty. I know it will make up to 46lbs of boost with it and only 36 or so without it. I have taken it out till I tow again as I get to much turbo bark daily driving. with my low stall converter it hits hits hight gear and lockup so quick at 80kms that I have to time it and take my foot outa the throttle to let it shift.

Yeah I remember the cold start thing, I live in Southern, Nevada in the desert and it can get cold here. Back when you were giving us a little private support with the custom tunes, it seemed as long as I stuck with the Predator default tunes I never had an issue, but when I started to mess with those custom tunes I would get that timing rattle until the truck warmed up, and then let'er fly....I think I still have one of those old tunes lying around....lol

He he, the rattle is most prevalent on the 06-up models, and that unit does not support custom tunes due to their huge file sizes.
