i just got a used predator u7131. when i tried to load the performance tune is said not licensed for this vehicle. is this most likely because the guy i got it from didnt return it to stock before he sent it to me?

Yes, it will need to be returned to stock before you can use it.

ok, well i just got off the phone with him and he said he did return it to stock before he sent it (he's already put another programmer on his truck) is there anything else that can be done?

What does it say under options/show last tune written?

it says original backup + quick adjust

no, i havent updated it. he didnt have the cable needed for updates i assume that he didnt either.

this thing is really confusing me. it was returned to stock before it was sent to me, and when i look up the vin # it shows my truck but it still says its not licensed for my vehicle.

If it has not been recently updated, it will need to go back to your buddys truck so he can restore the QA changes to unlock it.

alright, i was afraid of that. he traded his truck in on saturday, that's why he sold me the programmer. is there any other way it could be unlocked

im haveing the same issue with my u7131 but mine says last tune stock and it still wont load , i know my version is old v9r01 and it make the trk run like crap. what can i do ? is says not in data bace like all these do to .....

for $129 they can unlock if for you over the phone.

I try too call but i cant get throu to a tec...
