Updating VR7135????

So Vortech sent me an old version on my Predator. It doesn't even have the option to turn off rear O2 sensors. I am trying to update to 9r-17, but the tool won't take the flash.

I backed up the vortech tune to my computer. When I tried to do the update, it told me I needed to put the original back-up tune, into my vehicle. This in itself is ridiculous, because my stock tune is now useless to me anyway, with the Vortech installed.

Regardless, I loaded the stock tune, back to the car. I then tried to update my Predator again. But it is telling me "Cannot load u7135 application into vr7135 tool"

So how do I go about updating this thing??

EDIT- I just tried it again with 9r-12. And recieved the same results.

Its becausae the U7135 and the VR7135 are not the same. You need to get your updates from Vortech. Diablosports will not work.

Does Vortech even come out with updates?? ive never heard of this before. but ill check with them, and see what they say. thanks.

I just did a google search for "vr7135 update". and the first link brought me to a download section on this site. and it lists a "vr7135-9r-03" will this work for my unit?? it doesnt show up when i enter my vehicle type, and view the downloads page.

Yes, the VR7135 9R03 will work. What version is currently on your unit?
